The Lightie was started because we were frustrated with the state of lighting reviews online. Too many “best of” lists are driven by affiliate commissions rather than genuine testing. Products that pay the most get ranked the highest, regardless of performance.
We decided to do it differently. Every product on The Lightie is physically tested by our team. We buy products ourselves or return manufacturer samples after testing — and we never accept payment for reviews or rankings.
