A strip that looks vivid behind a television may still be a poor choice for reading a recipe or preparing food. For tasks, compare the white setting, published colour rendering and how light reaches the surface. For decoration, decide whether one colour along the run is enough or whether you want separate sections to show different colours. COB describes the light-source construction; it does not by itself prove good colour accuracy or freedom from flicker.
Measure the lit sections and the unlit gaps separately. A two-metre cabinet does not necessarily accept a two-metre kit once connectors and bends are included. Govee H61E5 uses 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi and Bluetooth; it is not a Thread strip. Hue Plus V4 uses Bluetooth or its Bridge system. ORMANÄS uses IKEA’s compatible control system. A Matter label does not guarantee every branded scene appears in another app. Before buying additional hub hardware, check the chosen platform’s current requirements for that exact model. Keep app-dimmed kits off conventional wall dimmers unless the manufacturer explicitly approves the combination.
